The Village Hall & Playing Field is a well equipped area providing good facilities for the local community. The field provides a recreational area with a bowling green, football pitch, children’s area, zip wire, skate park and a basketball court. The Area Archive Centre is located onsite, and the Village Hall itself has its own car park.

Within the Village Hall there is a Main Hall area (220 sq mtrs) with stage, separate bar area, its own kitchen and toilets. Crockery, tables and chairs are all available. About 100 people could be seated for a meal, or 150 seated for a show. The Main Hall is equipped with a large screen, projector and speakers operated and maintained by Wickham Market Movies. There is a smaller room (39 sq mtrs) with its own entrance at the other end of the Hall with its own kitchen and toilets known as the Committee Room (or Back Room). In the Committee Room there is a monitor with dvd and computer points available for meetings or teaching sessions. Please go to Gallery for pictures of the hall and facilities.

The Hall, freshly redecorated, re-opened on 1st September and is now welcoming new bookings.  Regular events will be returning when they feel able to do so.  Owing to the coronavirus pandemic there are new Special Conditions of Hire to enable users to stay safe.  Any enquiry may be made by contacting our Lettings Secretary, Sue French – see contact details below – or by filling in the contact form
